MEMBERSHIP
The donation for a lifetime membership is $35 per adult person
(not refundable); no charge for a member’s children under 21 or for indigent persons.
Membership is open to everyone.
- There are no annual dues, although donations are welcome.
- Membership can be transferred to any of the more than 100 other societies affiliated with
FAMSA ~ Funeral Consumers Alliance—usually for a nominal
fee.

If death occurs when a member
is traveling, the responsible person can call the mortuary designated on the membership
card. The mortuary will attempt to contact a cooperating firm in the area where the death
occurred.
(Note: there are at present no memorial societies in Alabama, Mississippi,
Nebraska, Utah, or Wyoming). |
