The FCA of Greater Kansas City was founded in the sixties as a Memorial Society, the most recent
name change reflects the true nature and purpose of the non-sectarian, democratically organized group.

The Funeral Consumers Alliance is a National Not-for-profit organization with over 120 affiliates across the USA. International Federation of Funeral Consumer Associations Not-for-profit (IFFCAN).
FCA is a member of this international ad hoc organization.
