NOTES
At the time of death, it is the family's responsibility to call the funeral home they have chosen to make final arrangements for disposition of the body.
Members are free to use any funeral home of their choice, but only those listed as "cooperating" have agreed to provide a reduced price. Quoted prices are for basic items and services only, so there are additional charges for additional items or services, such as embalming.
Each family makes its own arrangements for a memorial service. Memorial services are held without the body present, and focus on the life of the person who has died. These services may be held at any time and at any place that has meaning for the family and is convenient, such as a church, a home or an outdoor setting.
If distance from place of death to funeral home is over 25 miles, there may be a per-mile charge.
