TOPIC: Placing grandma's urn in with grandpa?

Placing grandma's urn in with grandpa? 10 Aug 2009 12:29 #271

My grandfather died yesterday after a long illness and he wanted my grandma's ashes placed in the casket with him. This is in Hawaii and I'm in Illinois, so I'm not sure exactly what is going on, but I've heard two different versions. One, that this cannot be done, or two, it would cost an additional $3000. Is this right? If not, who can they contact to help them deal with this? I cannot make the funeral, so I'm just trying to make sure that my grandpa's wishes are carried out if they can be.

Thank you
lynn
