TOPIC: Cremation searches on the increase in Canada & US

Cremation searches on the increase in Canada & US 31 Mar 2010 14:26 #324

I run 2 funeral directory web sites US Funerals Online www.us-funerals.com and Canadian Funerals Online www.canadianfunerals.com and over the past 18 months we have seen a big increase in the number of visitors to our site who are searching for "Low Cost Cremations".

This must be due in part to the financial issues around the globe, however, on speaking with many people about the subject, it seems that many of the Baby-Boomer generation are looking for a much simpler end of life option.

Just wondering if there may be any other factors to the rise in cremations and the low cost options?
