TOPIC: cardboard caskets

cardboard caskets 27 May 2010 07:08 #334

Hello All, Newbie here, I am making future plans and am considering a cardboard casket. Are they sturdy enough for a 200 lb. man? The casket will not be at the memorial service, only to transport from the funeral home to the cemetary. Any thoughts? Thanks for your help---Barb

Yes, there are many distributors of cardboard caskets that have >200lb. capacity.
They are very inexpensive....I've seen them on sites for as little as $28.00 US.
