Has anyone found a way to arrange for funeral arrangements in Northern California now that the Redwood Society is closed? Are the participating Funeral Homes no longer cooperating? Thanks.

Hi there,

Were you a member of RFS? If so, take a look at the membership materials you received when you joined. They should have good info about how to decide what you want, plan ahead, etc. If not, consider joining national FCA as a friend and getting our educational material.

If you're looking for a discount at a funeral home, a couple of the ones RFS used will likely still offer the discount for a while, but it was not a significant amount. Your best bet will be getting a funeral buying education and shopping around.

Most important - We'd love to see a group start up a new FCA affiliate in the area. Are you interested in joining in?

Laurie

Hi Thanks,

no we were not members but my Mother was and we used the facitlities and process they had set up and it worked wonderfully. We currently do not live in the area but are planning on moving to Santa Rosa as soon as we can. Time will tell. Thanks for your suggestions.
