Josh and others have been working on this site for awhile and the quality of thier effort is apparent. There is so much here! I'm still exploring and finding new tools and information that may have been buried in the former site, but I never found it until now.

I'm especially excited about the forum. What a wonderful place to communicate with fellow FCA consumer advocates!

The RSS feeds are also a fantastic enhancement. I won't have to visit the site and explore every nook and cranny to find new information that interests me. The new posts will now magically appear in my email inbox with links to the post where I can follow comments or threaded conversations in the forum.

Thanks!

Great job! Can't wait to get our local page coordinated, design-wise, with this.

Minor suggestion: FCAWP offers a discounted rate for two copies of "Before I Go..." to encourage couples to buy two copies. You might consider doing that, as well. Maybe 2 for $20?

Great job - and a big one too. Overall nice look and feel.

On my browser title of this Welcome section takes two lines anyway, so you might want to force a line break putting the FCA name all on the second line.

Also, Header has a date of last fall, you might want to update to March 26 2008.
Great to see the new site!

Dangers of Prepaying

"Preneed" is a term coined by the funeral industry to describe the arrangement and payment of a funeral prior to death. Obviously, if you are to have any say in it, you must plan in advance of your death. "Prearrangement" is also used interchangeably with "preneed".

The marketing of preneed plans for funeral services and merchandise is increasingly prevalent. Various companies, including insurance companies, "for-profit cremation societies," and "preneed associations" flood the mail with advertising which touts the benefits of their preneed plans. There are a number of pitfalls, as well as options, about which consumers should be well-informed.
