2/6/07 — Thanks to pressure from citizens and consumer groups, another funeral directors' association FAILED to outlaw low-cost cremation businesses, and failed to take away families' rights to care for their own dead. Read about it HERE.

Did you know MT funeral homes have seen upto a 60% cremation rate. The small number of funeral homes in the fourth largest state makes them "vulnerable".

Can you imagine anyone in the next 10 years, making money off direct cremation services only. If the funeral directors are put out of business and the cremation societies take more control...I hope a family doesn't mind waiting 4 to 10 hours to pick up the body in a house, hospital or accident scene. Most of the Montana Homes have a 100 mile radius right now.
