AS someone who has known Mr. Slocum for a number of years I know of his honesty and efforts to truely help change the funeral industry for the better. His work has been outstanding. As a Funeral Director here in Texas, it is no easy job to fight the corruption brought from here to Washington. In the past 8 years the FTC has lost it's teeth as far as the funeral Rule goes.
