Funeral Rule requires funeral directors to disclose itemized prices

Dear Action Line: Is there not some federal law that funeral homes must have "itemized price information" for everything in a "funeral package" so us dearly beloved can buy only the funeral goods and services we want? I'm in the middle of funeral planning after a death in the family. The director is vague about casket prices. - R.I.P., Tulsa

'Final Rights' recently published by Lisa Carlson and our current ED Josh Slocum gives a lot of that detailed information. You can of course supply your own casket bought from anyone.
There is a very lovely funeral Home in Enid which doesn't look too far from Tulsa.
Brown Cummings, and speak to Shaun. The reason i know this is they have purchased biodegradable caskets from me! They sound like very genuine helpful people.
