In response to Carolyn's question about advance notification of newspapers. Had he preplanned the service, he would have encountered these problems before his father's death, and the article in the Indianola-Record shown above, could have been garnered enough public pressure to help him get his way. The article that appeared after the fact (which is shown above) was too late to help.
