As an observer at meetings of the NC Cemetery Commission for a number of months, I want to suggest that NC operators of cemeteries might want to spend a little extra to get a wirrten confirmation of the delivery of the reports they are submitting in case issues arise about when and if particular reports have been submitted.

In view of the penalty fees assessed, delivery confirmation is an inexpensive form of insurance.

The Office of Legislative Affairs is responsible for coordinating the department's lobbying efforts, preparing and reviewing legislative proposals, and informing the legislature and other interested parties about the department's position on legislative issues. The office also serves as a liaison between the department and legislators.ccna
